Dear Marketer..

Sometimes I think the marketing world gives itself black eyes.

After all, how many times have you read an ad that goes something like this:

"Real Home Based Business! Make money while watching TV in your pajamas! If you can lick a stamp, you can earn money with us..blah blah blah.."

Does anyone actually believe those ads? They may respond, yes, but do they believe them?

The closest company I ever discovered to be close to this scenario was Easy Life Marketing, although it was a commission mailing program that did not advertise itself like this. I did some mailings for Easy Life in 2004 and yes, earned a few thousand dollars. I was quite disappointed when they closed their mailing program down that fall.

They have recently relaunched their mailing program and, yes, Pro Results Advertising is a part of the new effort. A test mailing went out this past Friday, so I'll be interested in watching their results.

I used to often wish there actually WAS a company that would pay home mailers. If such a business actually existed, I would imagine they'd have more applicants than they could ever use.

I believe commission mailing is as close to that as you can get. I've done commission mailings that didn't produce results at all; then on the other hand, at one time, I made hundreds of dollars a month with Easy Life.

I'd be interested in hearing any positive experiences from others.
